Hola Amigo's! Welcome to the Old Mexican!

Welcome to 'The Old Mexican', arguably the South West's finest Mexican Restaurant! Established over 20 years ago we are becoming increasingly well known for providing great tasting food at affordable prices.

The restaurant is situated in a convenient central location within the vibrant and charming market town of Taunton here in sunny Somerset.

Our aim is to provide all of our valued guests with ample portions of authentic Mexican cuisine, accompanied by a selection of Cocktails, Wines, Beers, Spirits or Soft Drinks in our friendly, informal, charismatic fully licensed restaurant. We also cater for vegetarian and gluten-free diners and feature live music on the last Thursday of every month.

Due to our increased popularity and our limited capacity we operate a "two-sitting" policy on Fridays and Saturdays. All table bookings are by telephone only and once confirmed we offer a "pre-order" facility (via the Reservations tab) for large groups in order to speed up service and enhance your enjoyment.
